In all honesty, yellow is not my favorite color (aside from red, I have the least amount of yellow in my wardrobe), but this season that may change! Yellow, particularly pale yellow, has exploded on the runways, editorials, and in shops, here are some of my picks for making yellow chic...

{streetstyle} {dior sunglasses} {aldo heels} {zara blazer} {tory burch studs} {suitcase}
I absolutely LOVE this yellow tweed blazer, from ZARA of course...Originally I was attracted more to the streamlined cut and edgy zipper detail, but the color is starting to grow on me, it looks even better in, cream, and cognac are great accents, they let the yellow pop while also keeping the brightness in check...
{kirsten dunst in rodarte}
A great look for Kirsten Dunst (above) and quite a big commitment to yellow! It's balanced but perhaps a tad too sweet for me, both her jacket and pants would make great separates however...
{floral blouse} {neon belt} {reed krakoff architect wedge} {j.crew yellow twill pants} {cynthia rowley}
Make it effortless like Cynthia Rowley (above)! This blouse is the perfect dose of yellow for me, these wedges are cool and the shape is perfectly in style right now...there's an abundance of colorful skinnies in all retail stores, the key is to color-block with richer colors in the same family or stick with basics like white, black and grey...
{elizabeth olsen in emilio pucci}
Elizabeth Olsen (above) is stunning in Emilio Pucci, I think I like yellow better in a print then a solid; it's getting me excited for summer!
{rachel roy} {yellow pullover} {lemon print scarf} {stella mccartney gold star ring} {pale clutch} {metal toe cap pump}
