Not much to say here other then I have admired and respected these girls since I was a young girl, they are truly an inspiration to all young people and I can't wait to see what they do next; this edition of ELLE UK is certainly worth the international surcharge!

MELLOW YELLOW

{vogue source}
In all honesty, yellow is not my favorite color (aside from red, I have the least amount of yellow in my wardrobe), but this season that may change! Yellow, particularly pale yellow, has exploded on the runways, editorials, and in shops, here are some of my picks for making yellow chic...

{streetstyle} {dior sunglasses} {aldo heels} {zara blazer} {tory burch studs} {suitcase}
I absolutely LOVE this yellow tweed blazer, from ZARA of course...Originally I was attracted more to the streamlined cut and edgy zipper detail, but the color is starting to grow on me, it looks even better in person...gold, cream, and cognac are great accents, they let the yellow pop while also keeping the brightness in check...
{kirsten dunst in rodarte}
A great look for Kirsten Dunst (above) and quite a big commitment to yellow! It's balanced but perhaps a tad too sweet for me, both her jacket and pants would make great separates however...
{floral blouse} {neon belt} {reed krakoff architect wedge} {j.crew yellow twill pants} {cynthia rowley}
Make it effortless like Cynthia Rowley (above)! This blouse is the perfect dose of yellow for me, these wedges are cool and the shape is perfectly in style right now...there's an abundance of colorful skinnies in all retail stores, the key is to color-block with richer colors in the same family or stick with basics like white, black and grey...
{elizabeth olsen in emilio pucci}
Elizabeth Olsen (above) is stunning in Emilio Pucci, I think I like yellow better in a print then a solid; it's getting me excited for summer!
{rachel roy} {yellow pullover} {lemon print scarf} {stella mccartney gold star ring} {pale clutch} {metal toe cap pump}

DREAM ESTATE: ORANGE ACCENTS

.
{brooke shields' manhattan home}

Orange is just one of those colors I love, in small doses of course...It adds so much to a room, especially in art or small accessories like lamps, tables, and dishware...
abstract art, acrylic painting, Fleur Redux
{christine soccio}
I love abstract art! This looks perfect (below) against the darker shades of wood!
.
{jennifer aniston home in beverly hills}
{orange lacquer tray} {gelato coasters} {macbook cover} {image credit}
Can't escape the bed tray, I LOVE them! I have this one in my living room for magazines and it's awesome, it would also be perfect for a desk accessories, jewelry, or of course a bar cart!

Orange, a cooler version of pink,

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: CACHAREL

{cacharel}

This line from Cacharel is from Spring 2011, however, I love it so much and just had to include it for this season! The simplicity is beautiful and it just looks comfortable and easy to wear. Thin knits are awesome for summer and can carry into fall as well, especially with such versatile muted colors...

My favorite part of these above looks is the rounded, open neck, especially when layered over blouses or tanks... Sometimes style is effortless and the more effortless, the better! Enjoy!
{cacharel}
{cacharel}
Bright pops of color, like orange and pink, and bold prints are everything; they nailed it on the head with this one!
{cacharel}
A great dress to end on!
{cacharel}
Gotta love orange,

INTERMIX

{yangyang pan}
Completely engrossed in the new season and one of my favorite shades of pink now comes in an affordable pump by Jessica Simpson, yes and yes! Pink is one of those colors that is easily overdone, best in small doses, enjoy...

HONORED STYLE: YOUNG HOLLYWOOD

{jennifer lawrence in prabal gurung}
Young Hollywood is looking pretty damn chic I must say! Jennifer Lawrence is a knockout in this gold gown by Prabal Gurung; she looks so glamorous yet very fashion forward, even though there are some cutouts in the dress she pulls it off without showing too much! Amazing dress and amazing girl!

Just goes to show that good style isn't only for size zero!
{prabal gurung} {calvin klein collection} {raoul} {marchesa}
Once again the cutout in the back is sophisticated sexy, very nice length considering the back, a perfect balance!
Jennifer Lawrence in Tom Ford
{jennifer lawrence in tom ford}
Miley Cyrus in Roberto Cavalli
{miley cyrus in roberto cavalli and liam hemsworth}
Miley Cyrus has transformed into a style setter! What a great change, she looks so fresh and exciting, everything you should expect at the turn of a season!
{david koma} {jenny packham} {unknown}
{taylor swift} {selena gomez in dolce & gabbana} {emma stone in antonio berardi}
Cream is back and I actually like it, playing it safe at the Kids Choice Awards this weekend Taylor Swift and Emma Stone look sweet in neutral shades, while Selena Gomez makes a splash in a fashion forward mid-drift bearing ensemble, perhaps not 100% appropriate for a kid show, but defiantly right for fashion obsessed fans like me!
Taylor Swift in J Mendel
{taylor swift in j mendel}

And of course Taylor looks stunning in a modern gown by J Mendel, so chic in white!

Gotta love the youngsters,

-M. Gisele
