{louise roe}
The Oscars are about film but feature tons of fashion, the idea is to keep Hollywood glamorous and these women knocked it out!

TV host Louise Roe (above) looked amazing in a tailored Black Halo gown, this dress was a big risk to take, with so many layers of fabric, cut in varying edges, and with a suit like top is not an easy design to fabricate, nonetheless wear, A plus, plus!
{kristen wiig 1} {2}

Kristen Wiig (above) has been playing it neutral all season long on the red carpet, but I love it! She is staying true to who she is and I love how her look is so natural and fresh, she is one of the smartest and most talented comedians right now and is beautiful in J Mendel, what a pretty gown!
{giuliana rancic}

Once again newscaster Giuliana Rancic takes over in Basil Soda, it reminds me a bit of the Rodarte ballerina costumes in Black Swan; Giuliana has never looked more sophisticated, she owns this dress!
{stacy keibler}

I had mixed feelings about Stacy Keibler's gold wrapped Marchesa gown; it seemed very bold and almost too shiny, but I have to give credit to the design, adding in this knotted fabric formed flower must have taken a lot of time and great attention to detail, very nice!

{brad pitt and angelina jolie}
Where do I begin on this one? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hands down the most chic looking couple I have ever seen, they just look great in anything, at anytime...Brad wears Tom Ford so well, perfectly dapper and how sweet that they match? Angelina gave new meaning to the term va va voom, in a black velvet Atlelier Versace gown with the highest slit I have ever seen, one that only she could pull off! This is the Angelina I like to see...something tells me I am not alone!
{jessica chastain 1} {2}
Jessica Chastain (above) is fashion forward in Alexander McQueen, I like how she took a red carpet look in a more edgy and fashionable direction rather then sticking to the ethereal glamour most prevalent at award shows, I like how the gown looks with her strawberry-blonde hair, she looks very young and sweet, love it!
{gwyneth paltrow}
Gwyneth Paltrow (above) always stuns in minimalist looks, I like how modern and simple this Tom Ford gown and cape is on her, if anyone can pull off a cape it is Gwyneth, this would have been too safe without it...
{meryl streep}
The golden girl of the night (above), academy award winner, Meryl Streep made this night her own, so humble and genuine in accepting her award and also making a grand entrance in a glitzy, gold Lanvin gown, reminds me of why I like her so much...
{emma stone}
Surprisingly not many women wore red this year, but Emma Stone pulled off the bold statement of color in a red Giambattista Valli gown, despite it's resemblance to Nicole Kidman's 2007 gown, I still like it! It's classic, like a black strapless, bows are wonderful!!!
