Can you imagine calling this heaven on a roof home? Well whimsical and bohemian chic designer Diane Von Furstenberg can! She seems to truly live the lifestyle she has branded and trust me, it looks like a great one!

Her NYC home (above) takes the word "penthouse" to a whole new level, literally, it sits atop the building that houses her studio and brand's headquarters...talk about an easy walk to work...

A few picks from her pre-Fall 2012 collection (above), DVF always manages to incorporate colorful prints into every season, this one is full of short school-esque skirts paired with sheer to the knee nylons...I am not big on the leather glove accessory but perhaps by fall it will have grown on me, trends have a way of doing that...

In the dining area, DVF takes from all of nature's most glamorous elements; the carpet is extremely bold but nonetheless keeps everything else cohesive, I think the open glass walls allow the room to remain balanced..the zebra chairs are one of a kind, I can't imagine pulling them off with any other kind of wood, the glass table shows off a pretty gold tree trunk base, so nice! And last but perhaps most important; nothing completes a space like your own an Andy Warhol painting! Amazing finishing touch!

A turquoise DVF clutch, I would take one of these in any color!

Her living/workspace (below); there is no better desk than a giant table! Especially one with so many colors and flowers, love it!

Some of my favorites from her Spring 2012 line (above), her clothes are simply pieces of art; the prints modern but the shapes are familiar, wonderfully done!

Her bedroom (above) is positioned at the very top, closest to the stars and with the most beautiful New York skyline! A bamboo canopy can shut out all of the city light! How ironic that light is probably one of the most desirable natural resources in this city, nonetheless, this room is nothing short of whimsical!
{dvf opal wedge}
Love the wedge (above) very simple, extremely practical for this warm, LA weather!

And lastly, a sweet master bath, I am sure this was custom made, it's so beautiful! Despite the four different wood styles, I love how this came together, absolutely original...
